On 7^th of September 1971 our history began.

On this day under the decree of «The Welding and Assembly Trust» by the MOGC (Ministry of Oil and Gas Construction), USSR, the Specialized Administration No.2 was founded, its tasks were main oil and gas pipeline construction and their overhaul in the European part of our country, mainly in the Central region.

During next years development of gas transmission industry moved at global rates: large-scale development of new deposits and development of gas transmission systems in increase of their power occurred, while gasification of remote parts of the country went with steady growth in the background. The history of enterprise The Specialized Administration No.2 is directly connected with all significant pipeline constructions in this industry.

The SA No.2 was engaged in construction of almost all major main pipelines in Russia, neighboring and lots of other countries.

We have been involved in construction of the following main gas pipelines: «Shatlyk – Khiva», «SRTO – Ural», «Middle Asia – Center», «Urengoy – Western Borders», «Urengoy – the Center», «Urengoy –  Minsk – Ivatsevitchi», the Ring Gas Pipeline of Moscow Region, «Soyuz», «Tula – Torzhok», «Jamburg – Europe».

main oil pipelines: «Pavlodar – Chimkent» and «Holmogory – Klin» «Pavlodar – Chimkent» and «Holmogory – Klin». The SA No.2 has been working on development of Mangyshlakskoye, Lyantorskoye and Orekhovo-Yarmakskoye oil fields.

The 1^st July of 2004 is one more historical page. The  «Specialized Construction Administration No.2» has merged with the Joint Stock Company «Specialized Construction Administration No.3» (the city of Stchyolkovo of Moscow Region).

The main direction of work in 1959 was industrial ground objects construction in gas industry in Glavgaz USSR, the Specialized Administration No.3 Trust. Efficient work was demonstrated when the biggest in Europe, Kasimov underground gas storage (UGS), Uvyazov USG and other industrial objects were constructed.

From October 1, 2005 our company is named the Open Joint Stock Company «Specialized Construction Administration No.2». Having united two Administrations into one big enterprise, we accumulated experience in the sphere of main pipeline construction and ground objects of gas industry building. Thus JSC the Specialized Administration No.2 got an opportunity to concentrate its efforts in unified gas and oil infrastructure, and it became a strong impetus for the fast development.
